Chapter 1: The Meet-Cute

It was a cold and rainy day in San Francisco. The kind of day where you just want to stay inside and curl up with a good book. But not for Sarah. She was determined to go out and meet new people.

She decided to go to her favorite coffee shop, The Daily Grind. She ordered a cup of coffee and sat down at a table by the window. She was just about to start reading her book when she saw him.

He was sitting at a table across from her. He was tall and handsome, with dark hair and blue eyes. He was reading a book too.

Sarah couldn’t help but stare at him. He was so handsome. She wondered if he was single.

After a few minutes, he looked up and saw her staring at him. He smiled and waved. Sarah smiled back.

He got up and came over to her table. “Hi,” he said. “I’m Matt.”
